George R. O'LearyGeorge was born on September 16, 1944 in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia.  He attended school in Brookfield and upon graduation, went to work with the Department of Transportation.

In 1973, he worked with Tidewater Construction and later with Dillman Enterprises.  In 1994 he returned to the Department of Transportation and retired in 2005.  Since that time, he has been working part-time with Basin Construction.

He married Sharon (Hamilton) in 1970 and has 2 children, Sean O'Leary and Tamara Katayama.  He has lived in Birchill since his marriage.

George enjoys a yearly trip to see Mickey Mouse, likes tractor pulls, traveling, and going to Masonic meetings.
